COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility

The COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and older.  According to the CDC:

  • People who are up-to-date with their COVID-19 vaccine have lower risk of severe illness, hospitalization, and death.   

  • It is especially important to get your 2024-2025 COVID-19 vaccine if you're ages 65 and older, are at high risk for severe COVID-19, or have never received a COVID-19 vaccine.

CVS Pharmacy

CVS is administering the COVID-19 vaccine and booster.  Eligible individuals may schedule an appointment.  Walk-ins are also welcome subject to vaccine availability.

Appointments are required.  To schedule an appointment, please call the Immunization Program at (559) 600-3550.  Metered parking is available on Fulton Street and Fresno Street. Masking is required.

Individuals eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine and booster according to state guidelines can schedule their COVID-19 vaccination through Walgreens. Walk-in appointments are available.

The Mobile Health and Learning (Mobile HeaL) clinic is UCSF Fresno’s mobile medical clinic designed to bring health care services to local communities where it is needed most while providing learning opportunities for future health care providers.
